Onedrive cant download file (2020)

Hello! I cannot delete ANY Onedrive file on my desktop. Nothing happens when I press delete. I can move the file to another non-One Drivefolder and delete it there. I can also delete a Onedrive file from a laptop linked via local network. I am logged on as Admin. OneDrive seems to be syncing all files except Excel files. I will work on a Excel file with a desktop computer and then save the file. I check the OneDrive icon and it shows all files up to date.
